The Global Intergovernmental Organization Participates in the 19th Edition of Kebé Santé in Senegal

Thièppe, Senegal – June 20, 2025

Today, the Global Intergovernmental Organization (CNU) took part in the 19th edition of the Kebé Santé free medical consultation day, following an official invitation by the organizers. This important health event took place across the communes of Kébémer and Thièppe, in the Louga region of Senegal.

The CNU’s Senegal Mission, led by the local Head of Mission, joined medical specialists and volunteers from various institutions at several consultation sites:

  • Kébémer Health Center

  • Papa Amadou Diaw School

  • Diamaguène Health Post

  • Thièppe Health Post

Medical consultations were offered in a wide range of specialties, including:

  • Gynecology and cervical cancer screening

  • Cardiology

  • Gastroenterology

  • Pediatrics

  • Ophthalmology

  • Dermatology

  • Geriatrics

  • Rheumatology

  • ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat)

  • Pharmacy and medicine distribution

The event was warmly welcomed by the local population, particularly by those with limited access to healthcare services. The CNU reaffirmed its commitment to the right to health and human dignity, strengthening ties with local health professionals and partner organizations.

“Being present today is not only about supporting universal health access, but also about showing our concrete solidarity with vulnerable communities. We sincerely thank the organizers for involving us in this meaningful initiative,” said the CNU Head of Mission in Senegal.

This participation reinforces the CNU’s efforts in Africa to promote sustainable human development and humanitarian collaboration across borders.
